Prof. Igor V. Pantić, MD, PhD

Prof. Igor Pantić is an Associate Professor of Physiology and a Full Research Professor of Molecular Medicine. He is also a Psychiatry Specialist and a distinguished researcher recognized among the top 2% of the most influential scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Prof. Pantić holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine (UBFM), where he is currently employed in the Department of Medical Physiology. Since 2017, he has also been an Affiliated Professor at the University of Haifa, Israel, and, since 2022, a Visiting Associate Professor at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Faculty of Health Sciences. In addition, as of 2022, Prof. Pantić serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Khalifa University of Science & Technology, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Prof. Pantić has an extensive experience in medical data science, with a keen interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence and their applications in medicine and biology. He is the Head of the Laboratory for Cellular Physiology at UBFM and has authored numerous research articles published in prestigious international scientific journals, covering the fields of molecular medicine, computational biology, and neurosciences.
